Why? Because probably the single most significant fact that you should know is that mobile phones have a theoretical and practical maximum Bluetooth operating radius of 30 metres. Period.

"So you're saying all mobile phones can only reliably download from (as opposed to just being 'seen' by) a device located no more than 30 metres away?"
Yes, absolutely. This 30 metre range is fixed by the Bluetooth® governing body, and all manufacturers of mobile telephones that support Bluetooth comply to this 30 metre maximum radius by fitting what are called 'Class II Bluetooth chips'. That's why in our professional opinion we believe it's important to convey that with our considerable experience, no Bluetooth Marketing transmission device increases a mobile phone's Bluetooth download-range, whatever its reseller's claims might otherwise suggest!
(In fact, we wonder why you would want to send a download invitation over a long distance anyway, knowing that a phone can only reliably download from a maximum of 30 metres?)
