FlowTrack Bluetooth Solutions
FlowTrack is a new beamzone® Bluetooth solution to providing accurate information on passenger journey and queue dwell times. Airport managers use FlowTrack to track passenger paths throughout the whole airport process. Final reports are presented via an easy-to-use, customised web interface. FlowTrack offers answers to the following questions:
•What is the footfall in areas such as security, entries, shopping or baggage claim?
•What is the dwell time in those areas?
•Are SLA's met by third parties? (for example: maximum waiting time at security check)
•What are the main and minor paths of visitors throughout the airport complex?
•After the security check, do passengers head straight to their gate or do they shop?
•What measures are effective to revive "dead corners" in the airport?
•How do results vary by time (day of week/ time of day)
All customer flow analysis can be performed to the minute and also retrospective observations with varying time frames are possible.
There are also extensive filtering capabilities based on user groups (frequent travellers, holiday makers, mode of transport to the airport, etc.). So operational managers can monitor and respond to queues in real time, manage service levels and improve tactical and strategic management of the terminals.
FlowTrack can also be used measure traffic flow and detect congestion in private and public transport. Another field of application is customer flow analysis in department stores and shopping malls.
